Moving From Another Job Management System

Deployr doesn't connect to your old system. You export your own records from your account there and upload the files. Each system's step-by-step guide is in the app: choose it under Moving From in Settings → Automations & Data → Data Import.

System by System

• simPRO: most records come from Utilities → Export. Jobs, quotes and purchase orders come from their list screens, which export at most 15 columns, and a quote's line items only export one quote at a time.
• AroFlo: there's no single export, so export each report (Clients, Assets, Inventory, Tasks, Quotes, Invoices and Purchase Orders) to Excel or CSV. Suppliers and periodic jobs aren't in them.
• Fergus: ask Fergus for your full data export, which arrives as a zip. Deployr reads it whole; see below. Recurring jobs come from Fergus's Recurring Jobs Report instead.
• Tradify: export your customers, customer sites, suppliers, price lists, jobs, quotes and purchase orders from their lists. Invoices come from Xero.
• ServiceM8: export the Client List and Job List, which need the Advanced Reporting Pack add-on, and your materials. Invoices come from Xero. Keep the account backup; Deployr can't import it.
• Ascora: export your customers and supplies. Invoices come from Xero or MYOB, and for jobs, quotes and sites ask Ascora support.
• Jobber: export your clients and your products and services, and the Recurring Jobs, One-Off Jobs, Quotes and Invoices reports with every column chosen. Jobber emails each export to you.
• Xero: its invoice export brings invoice history with line items and payments, for when your old system's export has totals only.

Fergus in One Upload

1. Ask Fergus for your full data export. Fergus locks your account at the end of the month, so ask with time to spare.
2. Choose Fergus under Moving From, then Import Everything, and choose the zip as it arrived.
3. Choose what happens to records already in Deployr, then Check Everything. Every kind of record is planned before anything is saved, and you can open each to see its rows.
4. Choose Import Everything to save. Each kind is imported on its own, so each can be undone separately from Recent Imports for 14 days.

The zip brings customers, sites, jobs, quotes, invoices with their payments, your price book and your staff. Fergus keeps no separate site list, so each site is a street address your jobs were at.
