Fergus is a capable job-management tool with a clean mobile app and no lock-in. But its published plans are built for small crews — past ten staff you are into a custom quote, and several things a commercial contractor needs aren't on the feature list at all.

Ten staff is the published ceiling. “Have more than 10 staff? Contact us for a custom plan designed to fit your business.” Beyond that, pricing is by custom quote.
The price unit isn't stated. The page reads “From $53 per month” and “From $77 per month” — with no per-user label, no included-user count and no GST treatment anywhere on it.
Purchase orders are Professional-only, and compliance certificates are a paid add-on at $30 a month for 1–9 staff, $80 for 10 or more.
The compare table has no row for inventory or van stock, maintenance contracts, a customer portal, a subcontractor portal, or an API. Offline covers time entries, photos and job notes — not the whole app.
