Delete Your Account or the Whole Business

Updated 24 Sep 2026

Anyone can delete their own Deployr account. Open the account menu at the top right, or the menu at the top right on a phone, and choose Delete My Account…. Customer and subcontractor portal logins have the same option in the portal's account menu. Deployr checks who you are, then says exactly what will happen before anything is deleted.

If You Work for the Business

Your sign-in is deleted, along with your name, email and phone number. The jobs, quotes, invoices and timesheets you worked on stay with the business, because they're its records, and the history keeps your name on what you did. A technician record in your name, and the photos and documents you uploaded, stay too. Choose Delete My Account to confirm, or Keep My Account to back out.

If You're a Customer or Subcontractor Login

Your sign-in is deleted, along with your name, email and phone number. A customer contact's access to the portal is switched off at the same time, so the login can't be used again. A subcontractor's email stays on the business's record of them, so the business can invite them back if both want that. The business keeps its own records either way: its quotes, invoices, jobs, work orders and the hours logged.

If You're the Only Admin

Your account can't go on its own, because someone has to be able to run the business. Deleting it deletes the whole business: every job, quote, invoice, customer, site and sign-in, for everyone, and the subscription is cancelled.

  1. Choose Delete My Account… and type the business's name as shown.
  2. Choose Schedule Deletion. Nothing is deleted yet.
  3. Every admin is emailed, and a notice on every screen says when it will happen. Until then the business carries on as normal, and any admin can choose Stop the Deletion on that notice.
  4. After 7 days everything is deleted, including the photos, signatures and documents uploaded to the business, and the person who asked is emailed to confirm.

To leave without closing the business, it needs another admin first. Open More on their row under Settings → The Business → People and Invites and choose Make Admin…, or invite someone new with Access set to Admin. Then delete your own account. The deletion dialog links straight to People and Invites.

A deleted account or business can't be brought back. Signing out deletes nothing, and cancelling the subscription only ends the plan. An admin removes someone else's login with Remove Login… under More on their row.
