Privacy and Exporting Your Data

Deployr's privacy policy is at deployr.tech/privacy, and Privacy Policy in the account menu opens it from inside the app.
Whose Information Is Whose
Your own details as a Deployr user, such as your name, your email and how you use the service, are Sentoro's to look after, under that policy. The records a business keeps in Deployr about other people, such as its customers, site contacts, staff and subcontractors, belong to that business, and Deployr holds them on its behalf. If you're a customer or worker of a business that uses Deployr and want to see, correct or remove what it keeps about you, ask that business first.
Where It's Kept
The database, sign-in and file storage are hosted in Sydney. Some services that help run Deployr, such as email delivery, PDF printing, the AI features and card payments, are based overseas, mostly in the United States. The privacy policy names each one and where it is.
Export Your Records
- Open Settings → The Business → Data Export and Retention.
- Under Data Export, choose the kind of record: Jobs, Customers, Sites, Assets, Quotes, Invoices, Purchase Orders, Time Entries or Audit Events.
- Your browser downloads it as a CSV file, which opens in Excel or Google Sheets.
Every export is written to the audit trail, with who ran it and how many records it held.
Only admins can export. Each export holds at most the 1,000 newest records of its kind, and says so when it reaches that limit. There's no export of everything at once, and the photos and documents themselves aren't included.
Retention
The Retention periods in the same section are kept on file, but nothing deletes records on that schedule yet, whether or not Purge Records Past Retention Automatically is on.
Your Business's Own Privacy Details
Settings → The Business → Privacy and Compliance keeps your business's privacy officer, privacy policy address and data breach response plan on file. It also sets out how each business's records, and each customer's and subcontractor's, are kept apart.
Asking for a Copy or a Correction
To get a copy of the personal information Sentoro holds about you, or have it corrected, email deployr@sentorotech.com.au. Sentoro responds within 30 days. To delete your account instead, see Delete Your Account or the Whole Business.
