Your Day on My Day

My Day is where a technician starts. It shows today's jobs as stops on a line, in the order they're booked, with the stop you're at opened up.
Reading Your Day
- Each stop shows its time, the job number and site, what the job is, and where it stands.
- The stop you're at opens up, with the site contact to tap and call, and one button for the next thing to do.
- The next stop not yet started offers On My Way, with the drive time when Deployr knows where the site is.
- A red plate at the top counts earlier jobs that were never started. Tap it to see them.
- Below today are jobs held from earlier days (waiting on parts, the customer, a return visit or a quote), then tomorrow's and upcoming jobs.
The head of the panel counts today's jobs, how many are done, and the hours booked on your time today.
Moving Through a Job
The stop's button moves the job one step at a time:
- On My Way when you leave for the job.
- Arrived when you get there. Deployr won't mark you on site while you're still on site at another job: pause or complete that one first.
- Complete Job when the work is done.
- Pause while you're on site, when you have to leave the job for a while. The same stop then offers to resume it.
Open Job opens the job's step cards: the site brief, safety, checklist, readings, photos, parts, notes and sign-off. See Working a Job on Site.
Complete Job on My Day completes the job straight away. To check nothing's missing and get the customer's signature first, complete it from the job's Sign-Off card instead.
The Office's View
Office staff can open My Day too, and pick a technician from the list at the top to see that technician's day.
If Your Day Is Empty
- "Your Sign-In Isn't Linked to a Technician Yet": an admin links your sign-in to your technician record in the Technician list beside your name, under Settings → The Business → People and Invites.
- "Nothing Booked for Today": nothing is booked for you today. Held and later jobs are listed below it.
- "No Offline Pack on This Phone": you're offline without a pack. See Working With No Signal.
