Find Your Way Around Deployr

Deployr is laid out the same way for everyone, but each person only sees the screens their staff role lets them open. If a screen described here is missing for you, your role doesn't include it. See Invite Your Team and Choose What They Can Open.

The Sections Across the Top

On a computer, the navy band across the top holds the sections. Choose one and the white band under it lists that section's screens.

• Overview: Today, the day at a glance, and Reports.
• Operations: Schedule, My Day, Jobs, Van Stock, Timesheets, Maintenance, Safety and Communications. Design & Calcs is there too when a trade pack with a calculation engine, such as HVAC & Refrigeration, is on.
• Customers & Assets: Customers, Sites and Assets.
• Sales & Money: Quotes, Invoices, Purchase Orders, Suppliers, Pricebooks, Inventory, Projects, Subcontractors and Onboarding.
• Documents & Forms: Documents and Forms & Checklists.

Choose Deployr at the top left to see which app you're in. When the HVAC & Refrigeration trade pack is on, it also offers Kelvin, the sister app for engineering calculations.

Search

Choose the search box at the top, or press Ctrl K (Cmd K on a Mac) from any screen. Type part of a job number, customer, site, address, serial number, PO number, invoice or quote number, supplier, technician or document name. Close spellings still match, so a typo usually finds what you meant. Use the arrow keys and Enter, or choose a result, to open it.

Notifications

The bell beside search shows how many notifications you haven't read. Open it to see your 20 most recent, choose one to go to what it's about, or choose Mark All Read.

Settings and Your Account

The gear icon opens Settings. Only admins see it. Beside it is the account menu, which shows your name, or a person icon on a smaller screen. It holds:

• Night Board (Dark) or Day Board (Light), to switch between the dark and light look. Deployr remembers the choice on that device.
• Sign Out.
• Privacy Policy.
• Delete My Account…, covered in Delete Your Account or the Whole Business.

On a Phone

On a phone the navy band shows the screen you're on, with search, the bell and a menu button at the top right. The menu lists every screen you can open, by section, then Settings (admins only), the dark and light switch, Sign Out, Privacy Policy and Delete My Account….

Along the bottom are tabs for up to five of Today, My Day, Schedule, Jobs, Assets and Quotes, whichever your role can open.
